Orange County is poised to become the nation’s next vibrant thriving music scene, and the OC Music Awards is the ideal medium to bring the entire OC music scene together for one night a year, while supporting all year long.

Orange County was a sleepy little suburb of L.A. until the explosion of the surf, skate and snowboard youth culture put us on the map. More recently, media exposure of the “OC” lifestyle has made our county a household name. With this intense media focus, the local music scene is finally ready to step out of L.A.’s shadow — and the OC Music Awards is set to provide the platform.

Our music scene is running rampant with talent, style and energy and is ready to jump to the next level. Fortunately we have laid the ground work and already have the necessary infrastructure:

• Small and large scale venues
• Recording studios
• Industry-focused publications
• Record labels
• Artists management
• Rehearsal studios

What we still need is a positive element linking our current resources together and dedicated to providing our local musicians with an ever increasing stage to voice their message. Our goal is for the OC Music Awards to become this cohesive element and while honoring achievement, help our local musicians achieve successful careers in music on their own terms. Please join us.
